White water rafting
So this weekend i went white water rafting for the first time on Saturday. Maybe second time if you count that level 1 me, Usman and some others did a while back. This was level 3 to 4, we needed a guide and went all the way down the Pecuaro River. It had to be one of the most amazing experiences in my life. We (10 kids in the class went) had two boats, and we stopped at a lodge for Saturday night. Sunday we did a lot of class 4 rapids. My boat ALMOST tipped, we were at like 80 degrees for one wave, but the other boat actually did flip and we had to get the whole crew out of the water. The view was absolutlely fabulous. We did a short nature hike around the area, which was awful cuz I dont own any tivas. I also learned that sandals arent good for rafting either, and u need water shoes or tivas, cuz they'll just fly off and ull be left without shoes for the day. (didnt happen to me cuz i bought some water shoes b4 i left)
Umm.. what else... my spanish is improving.. from zero to zero + 1. I can talk to my tica family now, with some level of understanding. Ticas are the word for Real Costa Ricans.. while Gringas is what they call us tourists.
Ill put up pictures for the rafting trip later this week. Hopefully they will all be right side up this time.
