Wows time flies..

Wow, it's been a month since my last posting.. that was fast
I was doing my sub-I for most of it.. which i have lots of stories from, so it'll take me a while to write them all down.

I am now FREE!!! i only have 8 more weeks of medical school. (3 weeks of neuro at JFK, and 5 weeks of elective hopefully abroad doing spanish.. scheduling that is still in the works)
But december is spent interviewing and studying for step 2.. january seems like it's a vacation month.. even though i didnt want it to be.

So Frisbee's still been going on.. which is quite suprising given that's November. But Sunday's game was AMAZING! If you missed it, I really cant describe the BLOODY AMAZINGNESS OF IT! The temp warmed up, it was perfect for me, (i heard some complaints of cold.. but I actually got too hot to wear my jacket) It was two games.. players inluded Mansoor, Shoaib, Me, Mudassir, Mukarram, Fahim, Ahmed, Abdul Rahman, Aiden(SP?), Samir, Saad, Taha, Shamiq, Usman, Masood, Rizwan..
The best part was the second game, on my team was.. Fahim, Mukarram, AR, Usman, Rizwan. And i have to say we did awesome. it started out bad 0/3 until we changed our line up a bit..
Mudassir and Taha have this annoying habit of playing in the end zone.. and just sitting there until a turnover. It usually works well simply because no one wants to be that far from the action that the men supposed to be covering them will be way to far away on the turnover.. I dont know if they know that or they are just lazy and dont want to move. On the downside of that technique, they take themseleves out of the main game and need a long distance thrower to be totally free to shoot them a pass. Well.. it was working in the beginning.. Fahim was getting killed trying to play defense on Mudassir.. he was the CRITICAL element on our team and had to play with the frisbee.. (he's so fast he can play good offense and get back quickly to help with defense) So we just started playinig more zone for defense meaning that Usman slammed on Mudassir over and over and over. it was so cool.. And since they had no more offensive game we just kept racking up points with them futiley trying the same technique over and over. But props to Fahim for being amazing. and props to Usman for all those blocks. (I helped too.. i actually blocked a couple of miraj's passes)

Interesting. Nice to see you all are playing so nice with my younger brother. No doubt it was a "Declaration of Love". Easy does her proud, you young guns.
